Return refused. I have already expressed my issue in a text message to customer service on 3/6/24. I have requested a one-time exception to the open-box policy because I did not see any indication that I would not be able to make this return should it not work out. It was totally unexpected based on other companies' policies under which I have made returns without exception. Thank you.

The Belabor rep does not even know that there is a company named Pissed that stands as a bridge between them and their customers and screens caller access to them . They also are unconcerned that their consumer reviews are horrible with many more people rating them a 1 out of 5 than a 4 or 5 out of 5 . In my experience they are the worst and do not even deserve to be in business . I waited 3 months for two delivery dates that never materialized . There is a new story every time . Avoid them like the plague !

I ordered a light that turned out to be defective. The electrician said there is a short in the light. Customer service has done a poor job of handling the situation. I have asked for a refund and they want me to troubleshoot with the manufacturer. I purchased the light from Bellacor and it is their responsibility to refund my money. There is nothing the manufacturer can do. It is defective! I would strongly urge anyone to shop elsewhere. I have been checking their reviews since this has happened and they are not a good company to order from. There are so many more companies available who are helpful and considerate.

I want to express my sheer frustration with the customer service at Bellacor. I ordered a *** jewelry armoire at the beginning of February.

A beautiful piece of furniture that cost $1,400. After months of impatiently waiting for the armoire to arrive, it showed up in late April. And to my disappointment, the armoire was damaged (not from shipping, but from the manufacturer). I contacted customer service within 2 hours of receiving the armoire.

First, they told me there was a form I could fill out online to submit pictures of the damage. They emailed me a link, but the link did not appear in my account so I was forced to call customer service again. They told me we could handle the claim completely over email. Awesome, lets do it.

I receive an email which has the incorrect order number and incorrect name on it. Nonetheless, I reply to the email with the correct order number and pictures/videos of the damage. A week later, I received an email with the following and I quote "Please repack the item exactly as it was received, using all packing materials, and have the item ready for return. We'll be filing a delivery claim with FedEx, and will send you a separate e-mail detailing the claims process within the next 3-5 business days." I spent 2 hours repacking the armoire in the original packing.

9 days later, I receive a phone call from a local furniture repair shop saying they would like to schedule an appointment to come repair the armoire. I'm confused. So I call Bellacor back. Oh yes, I see that we did schedule they.

They just forgot to tell me and told me the exact opposite. Furniture repair comes out and honestly did a great job for what the damage was. However, its apparent that it has been repaired and its a BRAND NEW piece of furniture that cost OVER $1,000. I want it to be perfect for that amount of money.

So I send pictures and express that the only way I will keep the armoire is with a substantial discount. You know what kind of credit they offered? A $50 credit. How is this good customer service?

And why make me go through all of these extra steps just for me to return the piece of furniture anyway? I will be returning the armoire and ordering it elsewhere somewhere with good customer service that wants to make sure their customers are happy with the product they received. I'm sure *** Furniture would not be pleased to hear about my experience either. Just to be clear this is not a negative review about the armoire.

The armoire is absolutely gorgeous. It is about Bellacor as a company and the fact that they don't know the meaning of customer service.

I will give them points for one thing: when I was going through the damage claim process, I noticed the armoire was on sale. They did credit me the difference in what I paid vs.

sale price. This was a $300 discount, which meant the armoire was still over $1,000.

User's recommendation: Many other companies sell the same products. Order from one of them. It's not worth the risk to order from Bellacor in the event that your order arrives damaged.

Spouse and self recently completed a custom home and a guest house on the same property. We were in the process of ordering lights, lamps and lanterns.

We saw many we liked with bellacor. After reading the negative reviews on bellacor we have decided to shop elsewhere.

Word to the wise, Do Not rate this company before receiving your purchase. I wish it was possible to give a rating of 0, as that's the rating they deserve. I ordered a 4 pc. Sofa table set on 12/8/2019 and they took the full payment immediately. That was the day all contact from them ceased, no updates, emails, nothing. Since they publish a time frame to ship of 4-6 weeks I knew it would take a bit longer. On 1/6/2020 I finally reached out for an update after receiving no product or contact whatsoever since the date of my purchase. At that time I was told it would ship no later than today, 1/20/2020, and since it was a beautiful set I decided to continue to wait. When the new ship date arrived (1/20/20) and I'd still not received any contact I reached out to this company once again. It was at this point that I was told it was still on back order and the new ship date wouldn't be until the end of April. At this point I'd never received one contact initiated by them, they'd had my funds for 2 months and no matter how much I love the set, I finally cancelled and requested a refund. I'd hand the money to someone homeless before allowing it to stay in their pocket. As an owner of a small business myself, I've never had such a horrible experience with another company. In the past I've purchased handmade, heirloom quality furniture without this much trouble. Even worse, if I hadn't gone to the trouble of contacting them, I'd still be clueless about everything. If you see something you like here, go elsewhere to find a responsible vendor. The extra $10.00 to $20.00 you may save is definitely not worth the hassle. And that's if you're fortunate enough to receive your purchase at all.

Buying for a reno or new home, beware there is only a 30-day refund for returns less fees, shipping and restocking fees unless it's damaged.The quality of the light fixture I ordered was cheap. The misleading description of this being a "restoration aged bronze" describes the glass only—the metal was spray painted brown (now discontinued). The mirror I ordered was also described as "aged" and had an industrial rough finish. Was it worth paying to ship all of this back? NO but I'll never buy from them again.

Ripped me on return shipping

I ordered a patio table from them. In the pictures there were two photos with table and six chairs, and one photo without the chairs.

The description did not say that the chairs are not included as shown in the picture. The total order was for $314.80 with $26 for tax. I called them up and they agreed that it's confusing (I have a chat transcript) but can't do anything. They said they have matching chairs but that will cost me about $2000 for six chairs!

I decided to return. When I initiated the return they did not talk about return shipping. When I got my money back, I was surprised I got only $204.27 back. Why?

I called them, they said the shipping charge was $101!!! Are you insane, why it has to be so costly for a table only? They said it has to be returned via the same carrier. I asked so I'm responsible for the charge but I can't choose my shipping option and/or carrier though Bellacor is creating the return shipping label?

Also, even if I $314.80 - $101, that's not $204.27. Why?

They said, because they did not give back all the tax! Hah, why????

TERRIBLE COMPANY!

I ordered 2 dark bronze lamps from Bellacor and 8 days later received 2 silver lamps. Waited about 15 minutes on hold to talk to Britney in the “customer service” department and when I explained the problem, without an apology, she asked me in a “happy voice” if I would like a refund.

I responded “no, I would like to receive the lamps I ordered”. She then explained that it would take several days to process my “request”. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that a supervisor would call me back within 1–2 business days. A few days later, I received an email from Bellacor saying that they were sorry I was not happy with my purchase and that I would only be charged for return shipping.

Long story short, I finally received my replacement lamps about a week later and THEY SENT THE WRONG LAMPS AGAIN! Another call to “customer service” and was told that the lamps I ordered were not available (website stated they were in stock) and that it would take 7-10 business days to process my refund. This company is PATHETIC!

(After receiving the first incorrect order, I received an email from Bellacor asking me to submit a review of the company.

I gave them a terrible 1 star review and when I pushed the button to post my review, something went wrong and I was not able to post my review. What a coincidence that they would not allow me to submit a 1 star review.)

The definition of terrible customer service

Bought a picture printed on glass. Looked quite different when received. Was told it looked better online due to the lighting used when their photo was taken and I was wrong to expect it to look the same. They said they'd submit a photo I sent to the vendor to see if it fell within acceptable parameters. I opened a case via PayPal. Suddenly I get an apology and a prepaid return label, with the promise of a refund within 10 days of return. After 10 days no refund, so I again turned to PayPal, who said Bellacor failed to reply to their email, so they ruled in my favor and PayPal refunded my purchase price.

Ordered lighting, backordered for 60 days, when it finally arrived it did not have the chain that was supposed to come with it and electrician could not set up. Bellacor said it would take another 6 weeks for manufacturer to send chain. AJ was the worst customer service associate. When I tried to explain that this was unacceptable and I was going to write a review online his response "ok, great". Obviously they don't care about their customers and have issues all the time because when I went online I found no shortage of bad reviews. I used this company back in 2008 when I built my house and spent over 6k in lighting with them and had no issues, they have seriously gone downhill since then and I will never order another item from them going forward. Buyer beware on this company.

NO NO NO Never again

I suspected something was not on the up & up about this company when I did a live chat hold for over 15 minutes, requested a call back receiving nother after 48 hrs, & finally called customer service being put on hold for over 10 minutes--never was able to speak with anyone. Still working on the matter but I am pissed (you can add the home furnishings site CANDELABRA to this list, too). This company is NOT TO BE TRUSTED--look at other vendors for your purchase. Wondering if I can file with Connecticut consumer affairs.

I purchased 2 Pendant lights for my kitchen. I loved them but they were to big. I shipped them back. Bellacor charged me $87.41 for the return. In this day and age of online shopping that is a total deal breaker. I am planning on buying allot more lighting for my home, I will never shop here again. If I could return the chandelier I just bought from them I would, But I can only imagine what shipping would be for that. So disappointed.

I received an ordered item that did not work no damage. Made contact with Bellacor and found that in order to make the return I had to take a picture of the damaged item or their process does not allow you to continue to receive a return label. Wrote an email to customer service... answer. Take a picture of the item even though there is nothing to show. I had no way to take a picture of the item and responded to Bellacor about it. No response. I will pay for the return if I only had an address. Probably will throw the item away as it will cost more to ship it back than I paid for it. Will never order another item from this company again. AVOID AT ALL COST!
